Diaz did not blow the save as it was not a save situation.

There are numerous incorrect references to the blown save in the piece.

He did not get the loss either.

Yes, he was awful, but statistically, this is not a blown save

Every reference to Díaz says blown the lead, not blown the save.

Until Diaz mentioned the pitch glass in passing the other day, I'd totally forgotten about it. He wasn't around to push through that nonsense last year when the other pitchers did before largely returning to form. Appafdntsuspect fmnan elem the pitch clock woes into to anything else contributed to the current fall of Diaz. add that to whatever else going on. everyone now

Very upset that the Whiz Kid did not try to sign Imanga .Sent Diaz to the Pitching Lab in Florida for a few days it could not hurt. Fire Hefner now. I do not think that the players trust Stearns - they think he is going to have another Fire Sale. I don’t like the Whiz Kid too arrogant and cocky for me yet he has done nothing for the Mets so far to deserve that act. Really wish Eppler was still there to be the voice of reason.
