I really enjoy what you're doing with the site, and am happy to be a paid subscriber. But if you want more readers to join the "paid" group, IMO you should add features that would be available only to those in that category.
I'm also paid at MLBTR, and one of my incentives is that they have weekly "paid-only" chats and discussions. If fans are asked to pay, they should have incentives to do so.
