Nope. Not falling for that trick again, lol. Im staying level headed and not allowing myself to get giddy about this win, lol.

Mets fans keep the Psychiatrists well employed 😆 🤣 😂

He just might have saved the season. The Manager managed the game with the do or die mentality that is needed. I said it before on this site, Peterson has been overextended and needed to skip a turn or two. What a difference a day makes. The script is flipped. Believe the magic number is now at 5.

Save the season. Whatever.

PS. NIMMO SAVED THIS GAME. Hitting a 3 Run Homer with the Mets down by 3 Runs

Alverez hits a homer, in a 7-7 Game, on a 3-1 MEATBALL.

CANT WAIT TO see what Alverez does tonight

As in Sept, Alverez is hitting 225 with 3 homers, 6 RBIs AND 19 Ks in 17 Games

BUT HOW CAN THAT BE, AS JUST METS SAYS ALVRREZ IS RED HOT.

WELL THE WRITER WENT BACK 22 GAMES WHICH COVERS

17 GAMES IN SEPTEMBER

20 DAYS HE WAS ON THE DL

AND

6 GAMES BACK IN AUGUST

STARTING ON THE DAY ALVEREZ HIT 2 HOMERS ON

AUGUST 12.....

PS. TO INCLUDE ALONSO IN RED HOT CATEGORY, WRITER WENT BACK 50 GAMES. AS IT TOOK 50 GAMES, TO SHOW 15 HOMERS BY ALONSO

LOL CRAPOLA

Also 1 win with 5 more games left surely didn't save the season.

As Mets could have lost last night and could still make this years WoldCard Playoff Game

I think Peterson reverted back to his younger self, and became a bit rattled when Soto misplayed the ball in right field in the first inning.

Came across this lovely stat:

"New York lost seven straight games in June, seven straight games in August and eight straight games in September. The only other team in MLB history to have three separate losing streaks of at least seven games and still make the playoffs was the 2006 St. Louis Cardinals, according to OptaSTATS.

That Cardinals' team went on the win the World Series."

Meanwhile Peterson has joined Manea and Senga in the collapse club. The AAA rotation is better than the MLB rotation, remarkable to say the least.

Why did Gary get political? Lost a lot of respect for him last nite that’s for sure. This is what this team has done to us all year. When 162 hits is when I’ll believe.

He didn’t. He talked about the asinine decision the Cubs made allowing that rookie to depart his team to attend a funeral for a hyped up podcaster. As they said, the situation does not qualify for “bereavement” because that is only good for close family members. He’s talking about baseball, not politics. But you’re too much of a snowflake to realize that.

Yea, you’re right. I guess you echo chamber types hate it that shoe is on the other foot and you can no longer scream over “micro-aggressions”. Good luck in the next mid terms. Can’t wait to watch Mandani burn the city to the ground either.
