I'm thinking the same. If he goes to AAA and pitches like that, it's going to be tough to keep him out of the rotation. Loved his mentality in the interview after his stint, too. He sure sounded ready.
And I love seeing a guy pitching with velo down in the zone and not trying to strike everyone out up top. He reminded me a lot of Mark Fidrych (and don't kid yourself, The Bird could flat-out pitch before he wrecked his shoulder): fastballs at the knees.
