I’ve always like Guillorme as a bench player, but, with Buck using him as he has, he’s become a terrific player for the NYM. I’ve read plenty of opinions in the past that if he played more his weaknesses would be exposed, however playing more has shown he is much better than most believed him to be. Not saying he is the Orioles version of Melvin Mora or the Giants version of Jeff Kent, but he is becoming a special player for the Mets. I think Buck deserves some of the credit for that.
