Without at least 2 of Senga, Peterson, and Manaea pitching top-notch the rest of the way, it won't make much difference what any call-ups do, obviously IMO.
I’m more of a doomer when it comes to the hitting but there’s no way to fix that other than guys remembering how to hit. I agree that Sproat or McLean can’t be worse than Montas or Blackburn or even Holmes at this point. We need a spark from someone.
Offense posting. I still feel they need to bring up Yanny Hernandez to play third base. They need a spray hitter with no power to provide a spark. Take a risk that he will be the new OMG this year. He is doing great in Syracuse. Send Baty down because you can't send Vientos down because he is out of options.
Kodai Senga's performance tonight may very well be the harbinger of how this hellscape will play out.

I think this is spot on. If we have Senga, Peterson and Manaea pitching to form, we're okay. But we need all three.
Before the injury, he was top-notch.

At this point in time, it's worth a gamble that the unknown seems like a far better option than the known when it comes to starting pitching
