Carlos did an unbelievable job as a rookie manager keeping the team together when the going was very tough. He used the pieces he had about as well as anyone could. What happened to the Brewers in the playoffs? Carlos still gets the last laugh!

Shouldn't the postseason results count for evaluating manager of the year? For instance, a top team that completely lays an egg in the playoffs should reflect poorly on the manager and vice versa.

I do find it questionable at the very least that he received so few votes.

The Mets were expected by many people to be a middling team. The team had a patched together rotation and pen. He was a first-year manager if one with a lot of baseball experience.

He dealt with adversity and took the team to the playoffs. The Padres did well, yes, but the Brewers as noted did not impress as much relatively speaking. It helped to have a weak division.

Oh well. He was our manager of the year & LIndor was our most valuable player. As to Soto, I might be in the minority, but I rather they go another way.
