He is what he is. He will give you good, bad, and mediocre. We got two so far. This team has a bunch of 5+ pitchers at this point. We are desperate for a starter that can steadily give length.

SM actually DID stop the bleeding. Gave up a run and closed the game. Not much more you can hope for in that situation, really. The Mets had no offense. Winning 2-1 is an iffy situation.

Correct. Manea was ok.

Run prevention has been a complete success so far... Beyond the losses, Lindor's lapses in Washington are a sign of carelessness.

5% of the season done after tonight, and the last few games have not been pretty. I feel for those who stayed up to watch this debacle. If Nimmo were here he could DH, and occasionally play LF. Then they could push Soto to 3rd in the order, but no use whining

Something is a miss. Different cast of characters same results. I think stability with the coaching staff and front office is key to any organizations success. However at some point you do have to look at Mendy and wonder if he is really the right guy to manage this team. Lack of focus and fundamentals lies with the manager.

Having PTSD with this team. Fire Mendy.

Or as they said in Brooklyn, he's a bum!
