I see what you did leaving Mariano Rivera out of the reliever stat. 😆

Anyway, I'm not sure there's a quality centerfielder who will be available at the right price in this year's market. We may have to suck it up there.

But we definitely need bullpen help. Brooks Raley coming back is a big boost and functionally an acquistion, but we need at least one more arm, and preferably two. (And I say this despite the fact I'm the world's biggest Rico "Suave" Garcia stan. LOL)

The biggest boost of all would be for Vientos, Baty, Alvarez and Acuña all to start hitting consistently. The talent is there. It just needs to fall into place.

I keep seeing people say Cedric Mullins for CF. Yes he’d be an upgrade at the plate at least with some HRs but he’s hitting .218. I have a feeling we get a few relievers and that’s it

Why can't McNeil be an almost everyday CFer? I'm OK with that, along with the four young players rotating among 3B, 2B and DH.

Lindor's last AB was better, so maybe he's coming out of his funk. And Alvarez's approach at the plate was so much better—at least in his first game back. Get Alonso going again and we should be good to go.

And, yes, the pen makes me nervous. Beef it up, David!

Agree. For sure, there are balls Taylor would get to that he won't but his contribution offensively outweighs that. Of the four young infielders that are rotating, sooner or later one of them is going to start hitting...right, er, I mean I hope.

I believe Stearns regarding center field. Don't know that there are attractive trade options out there.

Since Holmes very much wanted to be a starter, I wonder if he'll accept a move to the bullpen. That, combined with procuring Keller, would be ideal. In addition to Lindor, Alonso is in the doldrums. Auspicious start for Alvarez and Acuna is looking a lot better as well.

I think a swing guy -- a back-end starter/long guy -- would be a good get.

Peterson was BIG last postseason. So many starters can't go long. It would be good to have a six-person rotation, I think, and Blackburn is not reliable. I don't know when or if Megill will be back, but he is iffy too. A guy who might pitch three in a game like yesterday would be nice.

Finally a really good game. And maybe Vientos is showing some signs of life. But Lindor and the Polat Bear? Not looking good right now for those two.

Everything looks better after a comeback win! I think he's right to primarily focus on relief pitching. Have to give Acuna a full shot at 2b and relieve Lindor on occasion to keep him fresh
