I also watched Sandy Alcantara Friday night and he was outstanding in a 7 inning 4 hit, 5 strikeout performance. If the Mets are still interested in him they should go for it next off-season.

I watched Robert's interview after game & he does require a translator. I thought I heard a few mild 'boos' from a few fans & its classless. Do Mets fans want a winning team or not?

Can we all agree that we’ve seen enough of Garcia to know he should be the first one cut? I have to believe Kimbral will be at Citi field soon enough. I’ll also predict Mendy sits guys today which is something that drives me nuts. The “we have already won the series” crap that Mendy loves instead of keeping your foot on the gas and boot on the necks of the Pirates he will sub in every guy who has sat so far giving McLean substitute players instead of the regular guys who have played every inning so far. Hope I’m wrong but I doubt it. Every game counts as we all experienced last season and you play to win the game. If I see Vientos at first and Taylor in center I’ll lose my shit. We already know Torrens is catching. Anyways it was awesome to see LouBob crank that HR and send us all home winners. If he can stay on the field I predict a monster season for him. Soto is having a good influence on him and it’s showing. Let’s get the sweep! ACE on the hill today! LFGM!

A good start, better to be 2-0 than 0-2 but this person does not believe baseball needs to be played in the unpredictable cold weather of March risking a players career. A small sample of a long season

The more things change....

Yeah, different cast who are building a different vibe, but!

Defense is still an issue.

Mendoza is still the manager.

The bats can mysteriously vanish for long periods of time.

Maybe curb your enthusiasm until this crew jells into a formidable consistent squad. For now, they still are headed towards a low 80's win season, imo.
