not solely the manager, but he was a factor and should not be brought back

the bullpen was poorly constructed

as to the speed, Otto is a +9 in Strat-o-matic for a reason; he is tough to rely on in the 8th/9th

Losing Diaz was a major blow to the whole season. In my opinion if Ronnie is not the starting second sacker from right now so he can prepare for next year, the Mets are missing out.

The Mets started the season 14-7

21 games is enough to debunk the they weren’t ready for the new rules theory.

Their manager started losing games with his worrying about 2028 philosophy of bullpen management.

Pitching coach and manager talked about being wild in the strike zone, sending the signal to the staff that led to all those walks.

Defensively poor all year - WBC did not affect that.

Bullpen was well short before we lost Edwin; optionable relievers a miserable strategy

RISP poor all year - lots of gagging due to not handling the high expectations

DP and Tylor have to throw more strikes- the league just waits for them to walk people.

Churned has potential

No to Butto - too many walks, stuff not great

they didn't lose because of the manager. They lost because they couldn't pitch and everyone was out-speeding them.
