Well said. Also, with Steve and Alex Cohen at the helm, the off the field nonsense has stopped. Gone are the days of Mickey Callaway, etc. when we Mets fans had to bathe in Purell after we would read one story after another.
Also, be thankful for Edwin Díaz, no matter the outcome. Happy Thanksgiving!
Well said, Andrew, we have so much to be thankful for...add the fans to the mix. The experience at Citifield was electric this year, and Met fans showed up in record support of the team. It was especially great to see so many young fans in the stands, another generation of die-hards!
Thank you, Tom, and I agree. A lot to be excited about, and the fact so many young fans were in attendance is a really positive and encouraging sign, and I think also a testament to the superb work carried out by ownership to improve the overall ballpark experience.
Hear, hear! I agree wholeheartedly, especially the gratitude towards Cohen. Such a nice contrast to read your comments. Especially since there's a good number of posters on baseball blogs who habitually enjoy bashing players and management, spreading negativity.
Thank you Joel, and thank you for your continued readership, engagement, and support. It is beyond appreciated. And I agree, I feel in today's world it is the easy thing to be negative all the time. But plenty to be excited about and thankful for. Wishing you and your family a very happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving to you too, Andrew! And to all my fellow Metsies. Best wishes for a safe, happy and healthy holiday season. Have fun, drink a little wine for me (I'm still on the wagon until Dec. 23 😆). LGM!
Happy Thanksgiving, Kevin! Wishing you and your family a very happy holiday! I too am on the wagon, so I will join you in a Thanksgiving non-alcoholic tipple!
The pleasure is all mine, Andrew. It's an endless source of joy to be part of this community. Thank you for all you and the rest of the Just Mets team do for us.
I guess Lindor gets a pass for the “thumbs down” gestures to the fans for you. Personally, I don’t see him as the fun loving guy who seems to be playing the game for us. I see a guy who singed a 342 million dollar contract who goes into deep
slumps are the very worst times and know that contract ain’t gonna age well. He will be an albatross by the end of it. Think Marte was bad? You ain’t seen nothin yet. I’d agree he has atoned since the thumbs down incidents but my elephant mind won’t let me forget that.

Of course, can't forget about Howie! Thanks for the kind words, Ed. And agree on Díaz. Wishing you and your family a very happy Thanksgiving!
Thank you, and the same to you!
Also, I'm thankful for Howie Rose and the radio side of things!
I'm thankful for Just Mets and GKR. Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Mets fans.
Thank you, Matthew, wishing you and your family a very happy Thanksgiving!
Although it is not celebrated in Spain, I wish a happy Thanksgiving to all the long-suffering Mets fans, myself included.

Nice article. It put me in a good and grateful mood. Happy Thanksgiving everybody!
Thank you! And Happy Thanksgiving, Kathleen! Hope you and your family have an amazing day

Thanks also for all your support and engagement this year, too. Always hugely appreciated.

Are you okay?
