Murakami would have been a better choice than Polanco for 1b after Alonso left. Stearns?!

Ten under on June 1st. Season over? No. OMG.

Not there yet. It's only May. Anyway, get to .500, and start from there.

The Phillies and Mets used to be in the cellar and looking horrible. The Phillies are over .500, and the Mets have a good amount of life. That's baseball, Suzyn. Let's see what is next.

You have got to go with what you have in the everyday lineup. Maybe knowing you will be in creates less pressure to always feel you have to be the guy every time. Soto is back where he belongs, to drive in runs. Keep an eye out for adding pitching, you can never have too much as the injuries pile up

Random observations/thoughts. I could see the A's steady improvement & like that spunky club..& love that stadium.; Trent Grisham is a young guy but looks like a grizzled middle age biker with his bushy stash (it's cool) and heavy beard; Benge showed some mental toughness overcoming his error; how do Mets replicate that game every time they play??
