Peralta “eats innings”? If eating innings is now a five inning definition of that comment then yes he eats innings but last season only twice did he get through 6 innings. I think Nolan will eventually be the guy who eats innings and gives you 7 every 5 days. Freddy needs to give that to be considered an innings eater. Don’t get me wrong I’m excited to have the guy and I’m hoping he’s ready to pitch over 200+ innings giving the Mets the stopper they need at the top of that rotation. I follow Ernie Dove and the Mets have arms coming that should excite every fan.

It also is nice that during the spring we have more chance to hear from the women sideline reporters. No disrespect to the latest boring white guy we have.
