Thank you for creating this site! As a voracious consumer of all things Mets since '62, I find this to be highly competitive with the mainstream sites, which is a compliment of the highest order.
I totally agree and feel they should get another starting pitcher. Be it Castillo, Mahle, Synndergarrd, Montas (if he is healthy) or even Bumgardner (if they pay a hefty part of his contract). Then go with a six man rotation the rest of the season to give them all a break and rest. Keep them refreshed for the playoffs.
I know some would say no way to Bumgardner but he is a top notch playoff pitcher as they come, plus moving him out the bandbox he pitches in half the time and to the more spacious Citifield will help.
Definitely need a reliever and another DH option as well.
