Like what I see from Nunez. We cannot keep running out Ottavino, Garrett and Diekman in the 9th. They’ve proven they can’t handle it. We need to try new guys until Diaz corrects his issues. He makes too much to be sitting on the sidelines with a fake injury.

His injury is to his confidence !! With all his money Cohen should hire a Sports Performance Shrink ( must also speak Spanish and understand Baseball ). Years ago many teams had them. Very important since Confidence is a BIG part of the game.

Winning a series versus the Nat's, barely hanging on in the first game, is not fantastic but it's a start.

The Mets have talent. They actually had the whole team clicking for a short period this season. I think they will have some more good stretches. You take them as they come.

CBS Sports pointed out three reasons why the Mets should re-sign the slugger to a long term deal. They posit that it will be virtually impossible to replace his production at the plate, and also say that he is the face of the franchise. CBS Sports believes that they should attempt to agree to a deal before free agency before other teams drive up the bidding. I Totally Agree !! I still can't believe how many Fans are Alonso Haters ! Since 2019 he has hit more HR's than anyone else in MLB !!

I hope that some coach is smart enough to realize that 75% of game is Confidence for Diaz !! I would have fired Hefner already he is No Guru !! For the 500th time someone make Diaz learn a third pitch like a Change!! I would look 👀 at the Pirates Triple A pitching coach they are developing a lot of young quality starters!!
