The season started with most thinking we will hit but not sure if pitching injuries and rehab arms will make the grade. Pitching was a surprise and we hit sometimes especially when there was nobody on base. Currently, only the White Sox are worse then us with runners in scoring position.
Injury and overuse has decimated the pitching staff. I would also say we have had some bad luck.
My father always said that there are times you have to make your own luck.
We have three young third baseman that take turns showing that they belong. We have a half dozen young guys in the minors getting ready for the opportunity to show that they belong.

Our top of the order is one of the best but bottom half needs help!
We need to trade for a right handed bat. (A center fielder and DH who can hit would be nice)
