Whew! Lindor looks ready and Soto comes back. Seems the Mets will start Benge in AAA while Tauchman grabs RF but I believe this is more of a move to keep Vientos on the roster to see if there is anything to get from his bat before he is traded. Should he get hot would be a dream scenario for Stearns as his value would climb and instead of getting a bucket of balls for him maybe they get back a serviceable arm for the pen. Should Benge come north Vientos gets DFAd.

Again, I'd be shocked if Vientos has fallen so low as to be DFA'd.
