Everyday lineup: Alvarez , Baty 1st, Semien, Lindor, Bichette, Soto, Robert, Benge, Polanco DH (what an overpay). Tauchman first bat off the bench. Taylor, Torrens, Brujan/Mauricio pick one. Keeping Vientos means only 12 pitchers. It's a squeeze.
Hi Joel. I agree, and I think I'd pick Mauricio over Brujan. And, although it seems unlikely right now, something tells me Vientos will get moved at some point. He seems to be the odd man out
I’m thinking Vientos gets moved for a couple of prospect lotto tickets. Every time Vientos gets an rbi for the new team fans complain overly loudly and three years from now when both low level prospects show signs of being ML contributors fans don’t really care we traded a meh DH.
From the time of his signing, I never saw Polanco playing more than 50% of his games at 1B. With his injury history, I would think the Mets would be judicious in keeping him off the field as much as possible.
