"Some argued it was too soon, while others said it was a desperate move since the team was struggling."

Yeah, I wonder what Mickie Mouse writer said that a few days ago...

Decisions that are always easy in hindsight, of course. I recall late last season some commenters, in their eagerness to fault Stearns (not implying he doesn't deserve some) said, "If only Stearns had called up McLean earlier, they would've made the playoffs".

What a difference a day makes..... Looked like a totally different team. Not saying that this is true, but I begin to wonder if Lindor is the kind of guy who will be able to let the team become more cohesive when he returns, and fit back in or will he be a hindrance trying to be a leader that may not be needed or welcomed.

I haven't seen anything to suggest Lindor is a hindrance in any way, shape, or form.

I love the minor league box scores every day. A question. Why are they started a 29-year old shortstop (Jackson Cluff) who is hitting .130 in AAA. The question has been answered. He is never going to help anyone. There has to be a better prospect than that in the system. Rotverdt I understand, he is a veteran catcher you want working the pitchers, and Wagaman was once decent and you are trying to get him hitting again. But Cluff?

Okay. So, we have a new month, and they are winning. They are coming from behind. They are finding ways to win & not blow it. Good mentality to be in when they play good teams.
