What is going on ? No mention of the Dirty slide home meant to hurt Torrens!! No mention that Stearns just promoted Inglesias because of a June 1 Opt Out - Not because he knows how to judge talent! Too much time spent Dumping on McNeil with No Mention that he is Hurt with a Bad Elbow!!
I’m definitely OK moving on from McNeil at this point. He’s been bad 3 of the last 4 years. I think it’s strange that we’re asking Baty to learn a new position when he has to learn how to hit consistently in MLB to save his career. He hits way too many ground balls. Learning a new position may take his focus away from batting
Let's face it, The Mets will take the win but...... Bases Loaded, No outs and a lucky infield chopper that Bohm could not handle, scores one, a HBP scores another and a Passed Ball scores the third (and turned out to be the deciding run) Not exactly a great way to score runs but all counts just the same.
They do have an issue with bases loaded and less than two outs. Maybe the statistics show differently but just watching it seems extremely difficult to score in those situations.
